What you'll do
Resin art is all on trend and this class will provide you with everything you need to know about it. For all levels from beginners to experienced, we will walk you through all the knowledge to create your very own resin wall art masterpiece.
Our talented artist will help you create your own piece of resin wall art and learn all aspects including:
- What is resin and safety required for using it
- Knowledge of epoxy resin techniques used in application to an art board
- Explore the mixing of different pigments and colour
- Design your own artwork and use your own colour choice
- Learn the trade secrets in creating the perfect high gloss finish
Each piece of resin art is different as the resin does its own thing which allows you to make one-of-a-kind pieces. Once you have played around with resin it is very hard not to become addicted to this form of art.
The resin will take a min of 48hrs to dry so you will also need to arrange to collect your artwork within the following week or organise shipping on the day of your class.
Please note:
- Resin art is not suitable for children and attendees need to be 16 years+ due to undeveloped lungs in children and the nature of toxins in resin. It is also not suitable for pregnant women.
- Shipping can be purchased on the workshop day at a flat rate of $15 for Australia-wide. International will incur an additional fee. This will usually take one week after the class.

All levels and abilities, however not suitable for children under 16 years and pregnant ladies.
What you'll get
- All materials provided along with refreshments.
- You will get a 50cm round art piece completed by yourself with ongoing support and knowledge to assist your future resin projects. You can turn your masterpiece into a clock for an extra $20. Please let us know on the day of your workshop if you would like to add this option.
- Each class, you will be given a $20 voucher towards your purchase in the art shop or bookings into your next workshop. (*Conditions apply).

What to bring
- Your lunch (if you want). We have a toaster sandwich press and microwave available for use or 7-Eleven is just up the road.
- Wear casual, old clothes as it might get a little messy.

First starting in 2011, Art Tree Creations taught classes in creating your own resin wall art from the family home garage. Shortly after, due to limited supply we started making art boards and colour pigment for colouring resin.
This seems like so long ago (about 450 classes ago) but there are some things that have't changed.
Art Tree Creations is still a family owned business that is dedicated to teaching people how to do various mixed media art forms properly and safely. We have a fantastic team that has grown over the years who are all focused on doing the best we can for our customers, from advice to getting your orders sent as quickly as we can.
Our range of products has grown over the years but we still hold true to our original goal. We only sell products that we have expert knowledge of because we teach, demonstrate, manufacture and use them weekly.
