Your teacher, Made By Me Workshop is COVID-19 aware

This means that this teacher won't run a class if they've had flu symptoms in the last 14 days, and will adhere to relevant state restrictions (e.g. on maximum number of students per class)

See additional precautions taken by your teacher

The safety and wellbeing of our participants is our highest priority and we will do everything we can to ensure their safety during our workshops. Workshops are kept to small groups with no person to person contact required. We will be taking extra precautions to ensure all work surfaces, equipment and supplies are cleaned and disinfected before and after every workshop and that sharing of equipment is avoided.

Check your control freak at the door and surrender yourself to the free form medium of polymer resin. In this workshop we’ll teach you all the tips and techniques you need to create your one of a kind masterpiece.

What you will learn:
- What resin is & how to safely work with it,
- What surfaces are suitable for resin application,
- How to properly mix your resin,
- How to add different pigments to colour your resin and
- The techniques and steps you need to take to create your artwork.

During this challenging time we will be limiting our colour selection to 5 colour palettes for each class, this is to avoid close gathering during the colour selection process. If you have something in mind, please let us know ahead your workshop and we will happily work with you if none of the options fit your vision - we want to ensure you have a great experience while keeping everyone safe & healthy so we will do everything we can to assist with colours before the workshop.

It can get a bit messy so don't dress to impress. Your boards will need 24 hours to dry, you will need to collect your pieces the following day. Postage can be arranged for an additional charge.

We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, in our workshops you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself.

COVID19 Safety Plan: The health and safety of all our participants as well as our own team are a key priority especially as we navigate our way out of the recent COVID19 restrictions. We have completed a COVID safety plan and registered with the NSW Government as a COVID safe business.
For your assurance, below are the key steps we will be taking to ensure your health & safety:

- If you are feeling unwell on the day please contact us to reschedule your workshop.
- All surfaces used in the workshop will be cleaned with disinfectant before and after each workshop.
- All participants will be asked to sanitise their hands on arrival to the studio.
- There will be a maximum of 10 participants in each workshop with social distancing measures in place.
- Participants won't be allowed entry into the studio until the commencement of the workshop - we ask participants to be responsible for maintaining social distance if they are waiting outside of the studio.
- We will maintain a registration of all participants and their contact details for a period of 28 days, these will be stored securely and confidentially and only be used for contact tracing should the need arise.
- The kitchen area will not be accessible - usually we encourage participants to help themselves to tea & coffee and we love providing a grazing plate to keep you going. Since the studio space is sublet, we can not guarantee the health and safety of our participants or those who work in the space on weekdays if we have an open kitchen. We encourage you to bring your own hot drinks and water with you to the workshop - Sample Coffee is an excellent coffee shop located on Mary Street just a few doors down from the driveway entry. We will have some snacks available but can’t guarantee the effects on your waistline.
- The bathrooms are managed by Precinct 75, We understand that they are cleaning every few hours but to be safe we will provide disinfectant wipes for your convenience. We will also ensure we have hand soap and paper towels on hand should their supply be insufficient.
- We begin each workshop with a demonstration which usually means gathering in close proximity to other participants - we will need to work with each group to manage social distance throughout the demonstration, we are confident this can be managed with everyone’s cooperation.

This class is not recommended for pregnant women or children under the age of 16 years as chemicals are used.

Cancellation Policy: no refunds for classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day.

What you'll get
Each participant will receive a 50cm art-board, enough resin, pigment and powders to create their artwork.

My daughter and I had such a fun time at our resin painting class with Rebecca today.
Rebecca explained and demonstrated what to do so well. She made it fun and was very encouraging as we were doing our ‘masterpieces’. She is just lovely!
All the other ladies there were so friendly and we just had an all round great experience.
Everything was provided, even chocolates!
Naomi who was giving Rebecca help was so lovely as well.
We would certainly recommend Rebecca as a teacher and the class if you want to have fun and create.

This is a fantastic class for all levels. As an absolute beginner to resin, I found Rebecca excellent in going through the different resins, pigments and demonstrating how to mix the resin and application of it on the board including how to create a lace effect. Wow!
We all had plenty of time to create our own masterpiece and I absolutely love mine!
I found the workshop priced right for what was included.
Definitely recommend this Workshop and am looking forward to doing more.

Rebecca was an amazing teacher. She was very helpful and really embraced everyone’s creativity. The location was lovely, as were all the product options. Was a little nervous about the cost of the course but it was definitely worth it in the end. Would recommend for sure! And will look into doing more classes, especially with Rebecca.

Silvana Zubac • Nov 2018

This was an amazing class! I highly recommend Rebecca! She was very knowledgeable and organized. The studio was flooded with natural light and very spacious. She explained the process and the product thoroughly and demonstrated before assisting everyone individually, drawing on their creativity in search for their colour and design before they commenced. Every piece created today was a master piece - I was thrilled. Rebecca guided and assisted individually and collectively throughout the session and very generous with materials. She went out of her way to provide the colours I was looking for before the class - thank you so much Rebecca. Well worth the money! I learned how to create with resin and pigment and how to blend and apply. I loved it and am happy to be gifting this piece. I'll be vising again. Cheers Silvana

Great afternoon! Everyone really got into it and there was plenty of assistance if you wanted it but at the same time we were left to potter and be creative. Would love to do more! Bec was fabulous.
I guess the only thing I would like is a list of materials and where we can buy them.
FAQ
Just wanted to know where is the closest parking if i decide to drive.
Sam

There is usually plenty of parking on site at Precinct 75 - there really isn't anyone else around on a Sunday so you can usually get a spot right in front of the studio - if not there is a car park on site.
