Recent reviews of Resin Cheese Board and Sip Class

  • 5/5 from Beth Ollington, attended Oct 2026: Very clear instructions and tips, spent time figuring out what colours and testing out on the coaster before working on the cheeseboard. Got to take our board home same day.
  • 4/5 from Rachel Troeth, attended Sep 2026: Instuctor was very helpful and encouraging
  • 5/5 from Anne Marie Camilleri, attended Aug 2026: Absolutely fantastic fun for our Hens night! weather you are artistic or not the staff help you all the way through, and you all get to take something home … wonderful memories.
  • 5/5 from Belinda Green, attended Jul 2026: Marissa was an excellent instructor Very clear with her explanations and took the time to make sure we were happy with our projects
  • 2/5 from Tori Ford, attended Jul 2026: The making of the board itself was great however despite there only being three of us in the class, the teacher appeared very flustered/anxious and didn’t really help us much throughout as she was making her own. There wasn’t much effort put into creating the “sip” atmosphere of the class. I am also just now seeing afterwards that the website says a glass of wine is included however we did not get one? Happy with the art piece that we are taking away, however the experience was not worth it for the price point unfortunately :(happy for someone to reach out to me to discuss.
  • 5/5 from Maria Pavlidis, attended Jun 2026: Lots of fun and you get to walk away with you're own masterpiece cheese board
  • 5/5 from Toby Lane, attended Jun 2026: Teacher was fantastic, lots of fun and ran smoothly. Would definitely return
  • 5/5 from Paris Clydesdale, attended Jun 2026: Such a wonderful night! The class was so much fun and special thanks to Jasmine!
  • 5/5 from Amanda Franklin, attended Jun 2026: Really enjoyed the class. The teacher, Marissa, was fantastic - she explained anything clearly and was helpful throughout. The duration was a good amount of time to not be rushed. Was a great idea to practice on the coaster before doing the cheese board. A great little activity with friends or family, would recommend.
  • 4/5 from Sara Wigney, attended Jun 2026: Big space, lovely instructors, took a little while until we started making our cheeseboards. Once we kept going, it was a great experience. Can recommend
  • 4/5 from Sue Buckeridge, attended Jun 2026: This was a great activity where you get to use what you make. A glass of wine was a nice touch.
  • 4/5 from Mia Mats, attended Jun 2026: Great class, l had fun creating my masterpiece and the teacher was lovely. Thank you
  • 4/5 from Debbie Giacchi, attended Jun 2026: The session was great! I’ve never used resin before and it was explained and demonstrated really well. The instructor was excellent at explaining the process and was very patient with all the questions. I felt confident and supported and came away with a cheeseboard I’m happy to use and display
  • 3/5 from Madeleine Berends, attended Jun 2026: This was a fun class in a great location. Overall I was happy with what we were able to create but felt the pace of the class was a bit slow/disorganised. It was helpful to be able to practice on the coaster before doing your design on the cheeseboard. It would have been good to be able to do two practice coasters to refine your technique/design and practice more before doing the board.
  • 3/5 from Graham Smith, attended Jun 2026: Class was really fun. Drinks etc not available as purchased or advertised. Resin dripped off the boards on the way home as didn't have time to set before the end of class
  • 5/5 from Peter Karczmarczyk, attended May 2026: Such a fun, interactive, relaxing, rewarding experience. Highly Recommend.
  • 5/5 from Iwona Sawon, attended May 2026: Fantastic experience, I took my son who is 12 and he loved it as well! Friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend it!
  • 5/5 from Abigail Burns, attended May 2026: Such a wonderful experience! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and super easy to understand.
  • 4/5 from Mandy Herbet, attended May 2026: It was a lovely class and I’m thrilled with my cheeseboard. It didn’t really have a ‘sip’ vibe but Marissa was a knowledgeable teacher and it was so fun to see how everyone approached their boards differently. I can’t wait to use mine!
  • 4/5 from David Pickering, attended Apr 2026: The course was very good. I would have like à la message from the instructor prior to the course to let us know what to bring and maybe an indication of what we would do. But she did a good job of guiding us through the worship..
  • 5/5 from Patrick Hilton, attended Mar 2026: My friend and I were very pleased to attend this workshop. This workshop was a last minute fill in for our friday evening workshop elsewhere that had been cancelled due to an illness. We had a lovely large class of 17 people and it was apparent that the whole group had a lot of fun. By the end of the evening everyone was walking around admiring the work of everyone else. We left with big smiles and looking to attend another workshop by Marissa & Kitty
  • 5/5 from Claire Hillebrand, attended Mar 2026: Teacher was fantastic, very informative, helpful, kind and encouraging. Had so much fun!
  • 5/5 from Christine Caplin, attended Mar 2026: I really enjoyed this class and learnt loads we all had so many questions and requests and nothing was to much trouble everyone was so friendly to It would be great to have a follow on class to learn more Techniques Thank you
  • 5/5 from Jill Pope, attended Mar 2026: The class was very good. We all enjoyed it. However the venue had changed and we were not notified that it was changed. We were just send an email saying we welcome you at this address tomorrow. However, as I already had the address I went to the wrong address. We needed to be told that the address had changed from previous emails.
  • 3/5 from Amelia Jewell, attended Mar 2026: It was a fun experience to pick a colour scheme and learn how to create a resin board. The class itself, however, was quite poorly organised. Due to a system error they had more people booked in than they accounted for, so we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to run to Kmart for more wooden boards. We were compensated with a glass of wine, which feels like it should have been included anyway given the class is called “paint and sip”. Ultimately I had a nice time and the instructors were lovely, but I don’t think it is worth the high cost.
  • 5/5 from Fida Chahda, attended Feb 2026: A wonderful interactive class with a very knowledgeable instructor. We had the best time and made such a beautiful cheeseboard.
  • 5/5 from Judy Willis, attended Feb 2026: It was fun. Good teacher, good range of colours to choose from. Easy to redeem my gift card.
  • 5/5 from Sarah McArthur, attended Feb 2026: Jasmine was very helpful. We didn’t have anything to sip?
  • 3/5 from Jess Taylor, attended Feb 2026: The class itself was nice, but not very well organised. The teacher explained it was a new venue, but all the students were waiting at reception well into the lesson time waiting for someone to greet us and allow instruction until we ourselves went searching for staff. The venue was beautiful, but the organisation could’ve been improved. Having proper signage would’ve been helpful and possibly having the teachers come to the venue earlier to sus out and trouble shoot issues beforehand would’ve been advantageous as the class started 30 minutes late. Overall, the class was enjoyable at the pieces made were nice. From a sustainability stance, there was a fair bit of material wastage which was a little bit of a shame.
  • 3/5 from Hannah, attended Feb 2026: Great evening activity, lots of fun and a great gift. However not sure value for money was there. We got rescheduled to altona venue and it was like an empty office buildings with a couple of random fake plants and just a fold up table with the materials. No music, lacked atmosphere and experience. Was a bit empty environment and awkward. Didn’t take long to make maybe 30 mins so 30mins watching and 30 mins making. Boards from Kmart, paint and resin not sure value for money was replicated. Still a fun evening just could of been better experience/ host
  • 5/5 from Anna Pietrolungo, attended Jan 2026: Had a fantastic time learning how to use resin. Jasmine was very informative and showed us a variety of techniques to use. Loved the end result. A great mother daughter activity.
  • 4/5 from Claire McCarthy, attended Jan 2026: There was a good mix of paints and a few examples as well. Unfortunately we had a few issues with the heat gun.
  • 4/5 from Elaheh Sarafian, attended Dec 2025: I wish they had more space available on the table, to make it comfortable for people working on their board design. I love that they showed us how we need to do coaster first. It was easy to use gift card
  • 2/5 from Elizabeth Godden, attended Dec 2025: Resin cheese board Crowded and difficult to work. Materials not the best- paint clumped before I could work best with it.
  • 1/5 from Svetlana Volochina, attended Dec 2025: It was the worst ClassBento in all of my experiences. Teachers where disorganised and overwelmed by 17 students. There was no room to seat. Awkward narrow and not lond enough table to accomodate everyone. I was literally rubbing shoulders with the person who was sitting next to me and I could place my hands on the shoulder of the person who was sitting opposit of me.The teaches took long time to pour and mix two parts of resin. students had to queque for good 15 min.Apparently resin setting time is way over 24 hours, so what ever work we completed was totally useless, because the resin was still moving in our vehicles while we where driving back home and also was leaking on the sides and totally stack to the cardboard box that was given us for the trasportation of cheese boards back home. The teachers could offer leave cheese boards and coasters at the work room and students could pick up them in the next few days. I am very disappointed with this ClassBento.
  • 5/5 from Tessa Guastavino, attended Nov 2025: It was very fun and the host/teacher explained everything very well step by step.
  • 5/5 from Samantha Haymer, attended Oct 2025: Absolutely loved the Resin Cheese Board Class! The instructors were lovely and explained everything in such an easy to follow way. Watching the resin swirl and blend was so satisfying, and I was honestly amazed at how beautiful our boards turned out. Everything was really well organised and the vibe was relaxed and fun. Highly recommend this class, such a good experience!

  • 5/5 from Gail Drummond, attended Sep 2025: So much fun. Teacher was great.
  • 2/5 from Karina Griffiths, attended Sep 2025: Instructor was 15mins late the lighting very poor it was difficult to see correct colour of paint, we were using the lights on our phones to try and see the real colour of the paint ee used
  • 5/5 from Robyn, attended Aug 2025: Great day with lots of laughs. Our teacher was great and very friendly. We left with gorgeous boards.
  • 5/5 from Emily Smith, attended Aug 2025: Jasmine was delightful as she all showed us how to make resin cheeseboards. She would provide extra help whenever needed. The space was very inviting and the actual art of making resin was enjoyable. Id highly recommend and would love to do it again.
  • 5/5 from Samantha Merlo, attended Jun 2025: Had a lot of fun making the resin cheeseboard. Loved how it turned out. Great way to spend an afternoon with friends.

  • 3/5 from Tracy Pur, attended May 2025: We were early and had to wait which was fine but then they forgot about us. Had to request our drinks and the explanation of what to do took forever. Overall it was fun but will not be booking again
