Needle felting has become my passion, and I am so excited to share my knowledge and ideas with others.

I am a Fashion and Costume designer and studied at RMIT. After many years of working in the industry, I decided to establish my own label, sa.gom~e. Handcrafting sustainable clothing with the philosophy of zero waste and upcycling.

Now, I am part of a wonderful and creative co-op of artisans at Artocracy on Sydney Rd Brunswick. I am always experimenting with different textile crafts to enhance my work.

When needle felting was introduced to me by a close friend, I was so excited, it was like painting but with needles. It set my imagination wild, leading me to embellish woollen jumpers and breathe new life into preloved garments. Needle felting took me on a creative journey, inspiring beautiful designs on a blank canvas of wool.
