Love vintage china? Love words? Then let’s bring them together in a fun and creative way! In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll use pre-printed ceramic decals to design your own unique pieces. Pick from a variety of words in different fonts—some sweet, some a little saucy—cut them out, mix and match, then arrange them on vintage plates, cups, or saucers to create something playful, poetic, or completely unexpected. No experience? No problem! It’s easy, fun, and perfect for anyone who loves a bit of creative experimentation. After class, we’ll fire your pieces in a kiln, making your designs permanent.All materials are included, and this class is suitable for anyone 14 years and older—but be warned, there are a few cheeky words in the mix! So grab a friend, get crafty, and make something truly one-of-a-kind.Your Questions Answered:How many pieces will I make?You’ll create three, but if you work quickly, you can make more! Extra pieces are available for $20 each including firing.Can I choose my own china?Absolutely! We have a big selection of vintage plates, cups, and saucers to pick from. You can go with three plates or mix it up with two plates and a cup & saucer.Can I bring my own china?Yes, but we can’t promise it’ll be suitable for firing.Is the wording permanent?Yes! We’ll fire your designs in the kiln, making them completely permanent.Can I use my own words?Not this time. But don’t worry—we’ve got a great mix of pre-printed words in different fonts for you to choose from!Will I be able to take my finished pieces home on the day?Not quite! We need to fire them first, but we’ll post them to you anywhere in Australia (and yes, postage is included).Is the china recycled?Yes! Every piece is sourced from op shops and given a new lease on life.Can I book a private session?Of course! Get a group of five or more together, and we’ll set up a class just for you.
