Silver Ring Making Workshop

Looking for a creative adventure in silversmithing? Join our jewellery making class in Mt Dandenong where you will learn how to create your own stunning set of Australian sterling silver (or gold) rings.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore your creativity and craft something truly unique to reflect your personal style.

Under the guidance of goldsmith, Helene Campbell, you'll learn the techniques of texturing and shaping sterling silver to create two beautiful rings - one embossed with a beautiful pattern and the other beaten, both designs make your rings truly one-of-a-kind.

Our workshop is held on a relaxing Saturday/Sunday choose either a morning or afternoon session, giving you the perfect atmosphere to unwind and immerse yourself in this enjoyable activity. Throughout the class, you'll work at a real jeweller's bench, allowing you to connect with the craft and appreciate the effort that goes into creating handmade jewellery.

You'll be provided with the necessary materials and tools, and Helene will guide you every step of the way. Feel free to ask questions, seek guidance, and let your creativity flow.

In addition to the workshop, you'll have plenty of time to explore Olinda Village and indulge in the local hospitality. Take a leisurely stroll, have a refreshing drink, or treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of our charming pubs, bistros, or restaurants.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or someone who may have previously dabbled in jewellery making with metal.

Must be 18+ in age as a solo booker.

If the booking is for a Parent/Child bonding experience then the minimum age for the child is 14.

• At the end of the workshop you should walk away with two completed embossed, beaten/shaped rings in Australian sterling silver.
• Materials provided - over 15gms of sterling silver is provided.

• Closed top comfortable shoes.
• No loose clothing.
• Hair clips, ties etc for long hair.
