What you'll do
Welcome to the House of Handmade
Settle into the House of Handmade craft space! We will run through introductions to the host as well as house keeping including water, tea and coffee facilities.
Jewellery and Tools Run Through
Our experienced host will run you through all the tools required for the workshop, how to prepare your workspace and measuring your finger width.
Shaping Your Silver and Gemstone Design
Learn the basics of silver jewellery, jewellery making and how to put your ring together, including design, shaping and placement of gemstones on your ring.
Sanding Your Jewellery
After putting your ring together, it will need some time to dry before sanding down your ring until smooth.
Firing Your Jewellery
Once your ring is smooth and ready, our hosts will assist in the firing process of your rings over the stove top.
Polish and Voila
You'll end the workshop by polishing your magnificent creation. Our hosts will run through aftercare of silver jewellery and voila! You've got yourself a beautiful silver ring with gemstones!
