The space is located a short walk (140m) from the 86 tram line. There is ample free 1h parking on Johnston st, with no limit after 12:30noon on Saturday and all day Sunday. There are many 2 hour free spots on Gore st opposite Aldi of surrounding side streets. Paid parking is available at Aldi.

I’m Jodie, I started painting and drawing native flora and wildlife after having lived in Tasmania for a number of years and being so inspired by the beauty of the island.In 2024 I’ve designed prints, greeting cards and textiles for markets, shops and exhibitions and taught students one on one.For the last 10 years I've been working with watercolour across several mediums (not just paper!) and my Chinese painting background has found its way into my process and style. As the business has evolved, it was suggested to me to teach beginner watercolour classes in groups and I’m excited to get to share what I know with more people.Painting time is vital for me to pause, reset and replenish my positivity tank for the week. But it’s even more fulfilling when sharing that knowledge with others and seeing a student's creative spark ignite!My hope is that you can experience the same serenity and creative energy that comes from dropping water and pigment on paper for yourself.
