Located at 61 Stanley Ave in Mt Waverley, Stanley Ave Studio is an inclusive community and supportive environment. It’s owner and artist-in-resident Hart (Hartmut Veit) has over 30 years experience teaching, studying, exhibiting and working as a professional graphic designer and contemporary artist. And a string of academic art qualifications such as a research Masters of Fine Art from Victorian College of the Arts, a Masters of Visual Art from Monash University in addition to a Batchelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at Swinburne University. So rest assured you are in good hands with one of the best teachers around.
Stanley Ave Studio also offers weekly art, yoga and mindfulness meditation classes to nourish creativity, embodied movement, personal growth and transformation.

Hart was a fantastic instructor and the Pet paint and sip was such a fun night! All materials we needed were supplied, it was such an easy date night and Hart can make an artist of anyone!

We booked a private class for 8 people to celebrate my birthday and it was such a fun activity! Hart was so kind and helpful and everyone was pleasantly surprised at how good our finished pet portraits turned out. We got to play our own music on the speaker and bring snacks, drinks etc, although everyone was so focused on their painting that we actually didn't end up eating or drinking very much! Would highly recommend and it was an added bonus that the class was very reasonably priced. Thank you Hart!

Hart was an amazing facilitator for this lovely class! We hosted a surprise baby shower for my friend, and I couldn’t fault the day in any way.
Everyone had a great time, there was a lot of creative freedom and amenities at the studio to set up/decorate/cater the event the way I envisioned.
It was fun, intimate, and a day filled with joy!

Great painting class experience with Hart! Had a private group of 5 of us & was great to learn about mixing colours & painting a giraffe. Very Enjoyable! Will be back to do another design!

It was a pleasure heading down to Stanley Studio for our paint and sip class, Hart was very helpful and knowledgeable about the creative process and really helped me and my partner to push our boundaries even though we were just beginners. The studio was really spacious and cozy and we had plenty of materials provided to us to express whatever we wanted. Definitely will be returning again soon!

We did Picasso style portraits and it was a lot of fun! Hart is a wonderful teacher giving us great guidance. I absolutely loved this class, it gave me so much creative freedom. My friends and I will definitely be back to do some more classes with Hart.
