This hands-on sushi class is perfect for beginners. You'll learn how to make six styles of sushi from scratch with master sushi chef Keita in an intimate class.
During the class, you'll learn how to cut salmon fillet for sushi and make sushi rice, sugar-free sushi vinegar, teriyaki chicken, and cooked tuna.
You'll make your sushi platter using six styles of both traditional and international sushi:

  • Six pieces Hosomaki (small sushi roll)
  • Four pieces Uramaki (inside-out-roll)
  • Two pieces Nigiri or seared Nigiri
  • One piece of Temaki sushi (hand roll)
  • Four pieces Aburi salmon roll (seared salmon roll)

Private class information: We are happy to offer a private class where we come to your home to teach, perfect for home events and team building. Please note that in addition to the class fee, a travel fee (Gold Coast $50, Brisbane $60) will be charged for private classes. If you prefer to hire a venue, please note that you will need to cover the hiring costs.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 3 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
