Hello there, Sylvia Spirit has two co-founders: Jan (my mum) and me, Jade.
Sylvia Spirit began as a dream between my mum and me. We’ve always shared a love of jewellery, but more than that, we’ve always valued connection — the kind that comes from sitting around a table, sharing stories, and creating something meaningful together.
The pivotal moment came when we realised jewellery didn’t have to just be something you buy — it could be something you experience. We fell in love with the idea of giving people the opportunity to design their own pieces. Not mass-produced. Not just picked from a shelf. But chosen intentionally, charm by charm, detail by detail.
That’s how our Charm Bar was born.
What started as a boutique jewellery space in Terrigal on the Central Coast quickly became something much bigger. We became a place where brides gather with their closest friends. Where mums bring their daughters for special birthdays. Where women celebrate milestones, friendships, and new chapters.
My mum and I love teaching because it’s not really about teaching charm jewellery-making — it’s about watching confidence grow. Some people walk in saying, “I’m not creative, ” and leave wearing a piece they designed themselves, absolutely glowing. Seeing that shift never gets old.
We host private events, hens parties, girls’ nights, and workshops. We’ve welcomed women and young girls through our doors, each one creating something completely unique and special to them. Every single charm bar experience feels different because every story is different.
Something most people don’t realise about charm jewellery is how powerful it can be. A single birthstone can represent a child. A tiny letter can honour someone you love. A simple charm can symbolise something you love. These pieces carry meaning far beyond how they look.
At Sylvia Spirit, we don’t just make jewellery.
We create moments people remember.
