What you'll do
Looking for unique team building activities in Melbourne? Allow your staff to reinvigorate their senses and ignite their creativity in this terrarium or Kokedama workshop!This two-hour workshop is perfect for beginners and specifically designed for corporate team building events.What to expect:
- Event can be held off-site or at our studio in Malvern East.
- Learn from an accredited teacher and qualified florist with over 35 years of industry experience.
- Learn how to create a lush green terrarium or Kokedama ball.
- During the class, both items will be demonstrated, and you will have a choice of what item to construct.
- Our creative classes are specifically designed for beginners and budding florists
- The health and wellbeing of our students, employees and the wider community is our first priority. Out of respect for other guests and staff please don’t attend class if you are unwell or suffering any flu-like symptoms.
- Due to flower ordering and staffing commitments, no refunds or reschedules are possible.
- Photos will be taken on the day. By registering for this event you consent to your photograph to be taken for use in Bloomin’ Marvellous marketing and social media. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please advise event staff or the photographer on the day.
- During the class you are welcome to take photographs. Video recording the teaching demonstration is strictly prohibited.
- Please for the experience of all participants in the class we have a no children policy.
- Please note we don’t allow outside food or beverages during the workshop.

Our flower workshops are designed for those with a love of all things "Bloomin' Marvellous" with an emphasis on basic elements of design and covering a range of techniques for an appreciation of Mother nature's beautiful creations and most of all having fun with flowers.With an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, Bloomin Marvellous Flower Schools' founder Jemina has been lucky enough to collaborate with some of the best in the business and worked on many of Melbourne’s most prestigious events including the Melbourne Grand Prix Spring Racing Carnival and the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.Beginning her apprenticeship training at the renowned Myer Florist in the Melbourne city store to owning her own florist shop in the Mornington Peninsula at the age of 20.Her passion for teaching was ignited when she joined the team as head teacher at Victoria Whitelaw School of Flowers. This is where the story has a new beginning, “Not everyone gets to have a career they love, I’m very lucky”. Being able to give back all that she has learnt over the years to up and coming students was very gratifying and left Jemina wanting to offer more.
