Hi, I'm Brooke and I didn’t start out as an artist. After nearly two decades in a high-pressure career, I experienced PTSD from a work-related incident and found myself searching for something to help quiet my mind. That’s when I discovered textured art.What began as a form of therapy quickly became a passion. Creating helped me switch off, slow down, and reconnect with myself in a way I hadn’t experienced before.I started making pieces for my own home, then for others, and eventually began teaching. That’s where everything changed. I fell in love with watching people walk in saying “I’m not creative” and leave with something they’re genuinely proud of.Since then, I’ve taught hundreds of students through fun, beginner-friendly workshops designed to feel more like a night out than a formal class. I’m self-taught, which means I focus on simple, practical techniques that actually work for beginners.For me, textured art isn’t just about what you create… it’s about how it makes you feel.
