The Irish Shakes

The Irish Shakes provide a boutique mobile cocktail bar experience for groups small and large. Head Mixologist and founder Terry O'Donnell has called South East Qld home for the past 11 years. Born in Galway, Ireland, he gained his first experiences in events at the tender age of 16 in East Hampton, New York, working for his uncles catering company.

Since then he has worked mainly at cocktail bars, learning the trade from the best in the business, in Dublin, Edinburgh and again back in New York.

In 2014 he began managing the bar at Bonita Bonita, in Mermaid Beach. While there they were awarded ‘The Best cocktails on the Gold Coast’ Shortly after he was featured in the Gold coast bulletins ‘The Coasts top ten bartenders’

Since starting The Irish Shakes, Terry has built a team of leading mixologists who are highly creative, super fun and love what they do!

Terry and his team's passion for making delicious cocktails is only exceeded by their passion for meeting new people and giving them the best experience possible.
