The Raffia Connection specialises in natural plant-based fibres for weavers, basket makers and textile artists. Our Raffia Basket Workshops, designed for beginners or advanced makers feature our range of raffia, hand-dyed at our Melbourne studio. Each workshop focuses on a different technique. where in just two hours, you can expect to achieve a small trinket basket or coaster. Come along and try it for yourself!

Janet was very patient and great with our work team. We were absolute beginners but still picked up the stitching skills quickly with her help. The workshop space was awesome too. Highly recommend.
