Hi, I’m Athena, the person behind The RŌE Studio.

The idea started while I was working with live sea urchins at The RŌE Australia. So many guests were curious and wanted to know more—how sea urchins live, what they feel like, how they are opened, and why they are so special.

That inspired me to create a place where people can learn through real, hands-on experiences. At The RŌE Studio, we explore sea urchins, shells, seafood knowledge and ocean-inspired art in a fun and relaxed way.

I love teaching because I enjoy seeing people try something new. The best part is watching someone become curious, ask questions and feel excited about the ocean.

My background is in hospitality, marketing and customer experiences, and I now use those skills to create activities that are simple, interesting and memorable.

My goal is for every guest to leave with new knowledge, a creative experience and a little more love for the ocean.
