The Sweet Fine Artist Studio was established in late 2018 in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast.
Since then we have hosted many hens parties, birthday parties, team building days, and frequently host Sip & Paint, Sip & Clay, Life Drawing and other creative sessions which individuals or smaller groups can attend on a weekly basis.

Attending the textured art class at The Sweet Fine Artist Studio was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm from the staff. The studio itself exuded creativity, with its vibrant décor and spacious layout, setting the perfect atmosphere for unleashing artistic expression.
Under the guidance of our talented instructor, I discovered a whole new dimension to my creativity. The class was well-paced, allowing ample time for exploration and experimentation with various textures and techniques. Whether it was applying layers of plaster and paint adding depth with mixed media, each step was expertly demonstrated and patiently assisted.
What truly stood out was the sense of inspiration fostered within the studio.
By the end of the session, I not only had a stunning textured artwork to take home but also a newfound confidence in my artistic abilities. I highly recommend The Sweet Fine Artist Studio to anyone looking to embark on a textured art journey. It's an experience that not only nurtures creativity and leaves you feeling inspired.

We had a great afternoon with Marie guiding us along the way. We had tunes playing, brought our own food and something to drink. It was a little bit hot but the fans were on to keep us cool. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon as a team getting outside our comfort zones and getting creative with each other.

I booked a workshop with Maree, for my husband and me . We adored the class , first experience with texture painting . Maree is adorable and so very knowledgeable . I wish we had more participants, sharing a workshop with likeminded people is more fun. All together this workshop is good value for money and we will go back soon .

Kit was different to what I was expecting, the pages were very big and came in a tube which made them all curly up which was annoying. The kit is okay thought good charcoal and white pencil.

We had everything we needed, and Maree was so sweet and hosted what ended up being like a private function just for us who were traveling to the GC. She was fun, and guided us through brilliantly, and had everything ready to go.
She was even kind enough to let us leave the artwork to dry there and pick up the next day. She could not have been more accommodating!
