5/5 from Jane Whitelock, attended Jun 2024: Arrived with few expectations but to come away with freshly prepared dishes, using Indian and local ingredients. The light filled kitchen space was shared by a group of like minded amateur cooks who all enjoyed a day of learning and creative cooking under the skilled guidance of Tanya who managed us and the kitchen with skill and mastery enabling six sumptuous dishes drawn from the North and South of India. I definitely learned that I need to do a few things with my own pantry and appreciated the clever design and streamlining that Tanya is a master at. Not only did we enjoy combining our ingredients following the recipes we also learned much about handling food and choices of brands and fresh ingredients regarding nutritional value. Everyone was engaged at all times and the foods we admired by smell and sight and taste are absolutely delicious. I have never considered myself able with regards to creating vegan dishes in authentic Indian style which are this pure and aromatic. Today I learned that I definitely can create some six star dishes and I am looking forward to trying again in my own kitchen Tanya definitely has a passion to share and the knowledge to pass on. It’s a privilege to participate in such a project with a team spirit.
