What you'll do
Join our watercolour painting course and unleash your inner creativity with artist Lindsay McDougall! Whether you're an experienced artist or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to explore and develop their artistic skills.
In this class, you'll have the opportunity to learn a diverse range of techniques to create stunning watercolour paintings.
Our experienced and passionate teacher will provide step-by-step guidance, helping you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. We explore a wide range of subjects, from landscapes and still life to abstract and portraiture. This allows you to find your niche or explore different styles.
This course will cover:
- Understanding the watercolour medium.
- Colour theory and colour mixing.
- Watercolour techniques, wet on wet, dry on wet, dry brush, graded washes and more
- Techniques to begin a painting and the process to completion.
- Drawing skills including perspective and simplifying your process.
- Composition - the key to your own artistic competency.
- The creative process and developing your own style.
You'll also get to receive constructive, one on one feedback from your teacher to help you grow as an artist.
This class provides a peaceful and stress-free environment where you can unwind and let your creativity flow. Connect with your loved ones and feel inspired by everyone's work of art!
