- 5/5 from Marnie Ireland, attended Aug 2026: The sculpture with Jenny Whiteside was absolutely fantastic. Jenny was incredibly generous with sharing her considerable knowledge, skills and contacts. i.e. starting the day with a tour of the Perrin Sculpture Foundry was brilliant! I've certainly got the sculpture bug... but most valuably from the day, the confidence to have a go.
- 5/5 from Alice Bluer, attended Aug 2026: Jenny was a wonderful teacher and has structured the class in a way that all levels are able to get a lot out of it, she embraces creativity while helping with technical skills as needed. The foundry tour was so great to see as well and added an extra dimension to the class.
- 5/5 from Yaya Carabana, attended Mar 2026: We booked the Wax/Bronze Sculpture course to celebrate our bronze (8th) wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. The day began with a foundry tour with Bill, which was incredibly insightful and educational. It was fascinating to see the bronzing process up close and gain a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind it. After the tour, we headed to Jenny’s studio to start working on our wax designs. Jenny was thorough, patient, and very encouraging throughout the session. She had all the tools and knowledge needed to guide us while still giving us the freedom to explore our own ideas. Her passion for the craft really shines through in the way she teaches, it’s clearly much more than just a hobby. We can’t wait to see our creations once they’ve been bronzed. Thank you, Jenny, for such a special experience!

- 5/5 from Mun Rosewarne, attended Sep 2025: Bill of Perrin Bronze Foundry gave us a tour of his workshop and gave us an overview of the fascinating art and process of bronze casting. This was the perfect way to warm us up to making our own wax models over two days under the expert guidance of sculptor Jenny. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to work with their hands. It was a profound reset for my overthinking brain. Thank you Jenny! I am excited about having my first piece of work cast into bronze.

Your teacher
I am Jenny a self taught Stone Sculptor/Artist and workshop facilitator of more that 25 years, located in Melbourne. What started off as a hobby and passion soon became my profession. I have always adored sculpture and a 3 day workshop in stone sculpture kicked off my obsession.I work directly with the stone, uncovering form and shape hidden within.. that's the fun part. My work is predominantly figurative however recently I have begun to play with abstraction of form. Many of my artworks have been sold though galleries and various art exhibitions winning prizes for my sculpture along the way.... my art enriches not only my life as a creative but also those who have bought them.I have been conducting workshops for over 15 years and enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge with you during my workshops. I find it so inspiring to see what is created by you in just 1 day. Come along for a fun, creative day, take home a sculpture.
