What you'll do
Located in the iconic Nicholas Building in Melbourne, come and experience this relaxing jewellery making course with your teacher, Brooke Everett.
In the first session, you will learn how to use casting wax to make one off pieces of jewellery to be cast in sterling silver.
Everything will be provided, we will go over the types of wax you can use, techniques, tools and getting the best outcomes for your designs.
The pieces will then be sent to a local casting house.
The second session will cover how to clean up your pieces, sprue removal, filing and polishing. If you do not wish to clean up your casting, Brooke will do so for you and arrange postage/ pick up.
By the end of this course, you'll end up making your own unique silver jewellery!
Knowledge required
No previous experience required, suitable for absolutely beginners.
What you'll get
A hands on fun, experience from a certified teacher, and a finished item after session two. Morning tea provided!

I’m a jeweller by trade, but have so much passion for learning new things, that I then love to teach and share my knowledge. I have a beautiful studio located in the Iconic Nicholas Building in Melbournes CBD. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine art Gold and Silversmithing, a Cert IV in training and assessment, am a member of NAVA and a Fellow of the Gold and Silversmiths Guild of Australia.
