You will explore a simple theme through art-making, choosing materials that feel right and expressing what’s felt in the moment.

With guided questions and observations, we pause to notice what stands out in the artwork and what feels meaningful.

Through written reflections, insights are gently connected to everyday life, supporting new awareness and ways of understanding feelings beyond the session.


Art Therapy Group Session – Reconnect Through Creativity
Join us for a gentle, guided art therapy session designed to help you slow down, reflect, and express in a safe, supportive space.
You will be guided through:
  • Grounding & mindfulness practices
  • Visual expression activities
  • Reflection & optional group sharing
Art therapy can support:
  • Emotional regulation
  • Healing from stress & trauma
  • Self-connection and self-compassion
  • Personal insight and growth
You don’t need to be ‘artistic’ – creativity is a natural human language.
When: Sat, 21st & 28th Feb, 11:30am – 1:00pm

Chrissie is a qualified Arts Therapist (Masters), Trainer, and Community Development Coordinator. Credential details and examples of Chrissie's work can be found via Chrissie's Creative Therapies website. Trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, WWCC, and NDIS SC.
What you'll get
Their completed creative piece and self regulation/arts therapy tools to practice at home.
Knowledge required
No art experience is required. Art Therapy is more about expressing your inner self through various art materials rather than producing beautiful artwork.
What to bring
Yoga mat or something similar to sit/lie on, optional meditation cushion.
Session repeats

This class series runs over 2 consecutive sessions, which are 1 week apart.
