Hi, I’m Simone, founder of Wick-Zen and Melbourne’s first Candle Bar.I created Candle Bar from a love of scent, beautiful objects and bringing people together. The idea was simple: less like a traditional workshop, more like catching up with friends at your favourite neighbourhood bar.Set inside Brunswick’s historic Tram Depot, Candle Bar is a warm, welcoming space inspired by Australia’s relaxed hospitality culture.What makes it different is our keeper philosophy. Instead of a standard candle jar, you’ll choose from beautiful vessels inspired by drinking and dining rituals, including cocktail glasses, stemware and latte cups. Once the candle has burned, you can clean the vessel and enjoy it all over again.For me, Candle Bar is about much more than making a candle. It’s about good conversation, delicious desserts and taking a little time out from a busy world.Wick-Zen also supports The Lost Dogs Home, with $2 from every full-sized candle sold helping animals get the care and second chance they deserve.I can’t wait to welcome you, help you trust your nose and pour something completely your own.
