Wild Art – Cyanotype Self Portrait Experience

Beginners Cyanotype Mini Workshop

1 hour Class size 1 to 10 guests       $49

Be captivated by the magical intersection of nature, your imagination, and cyanotype printmaking. This workshop explores the shapes, forms, and textures of the wild found in leaves and flowers. Using an alternative photographic technique, get up close with nature and create 3-4 blueprints in monochrome Prussian blue (white where shielded from UV light) that reflect back to us our individual blueprints. Full creative expression is always invited, and we will reflect on our prints as possible self-portraits, aka our blueprints.
This workshop is also weather-dependent. If it's a rainy, fully overcast day, it will not go ahead due to insufficient UV.
This cyanotype workshop is part of my Mini Workshop Series: short, affordable, beginner-focused workshops to suit all budgets and beginner creatives. I also facilitate 3-hour immersive cyanotype workshops for beginners, as well as advanced techniques exploring wet cyanotype making, fabric, and photographic transparencies. Twice a year, I host 5-hour immersive experiences in nature.
