What you'll do
Experiment with a contemporary approach to watercolour painting to capture the vivid colours, patterns, and textures of our beautiful coral reefs.
Discover the brilliance of the feature colours as well as newly released colours to expand your palette. Develop your colour mixing knowledge while delving into the exciting possibilities of layering watercolour, Designer's Gouache, Promarker Watercolour, and various mediums to create a range of effects. Splash, draw, wash out, and layer opaque over transparent to experiment with the tradition of watercolour by investigating innovative techniques and applications.
Workshop participants will complete their own underwater reef artwork working from a template on Fabriano Watercolour Papers.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate-level artists. All materials will be provided for use during the workshop.
