I am a Melbourne poet and writer who has been published in journals both locally and internationally, including in Best of Australian Poems (2025) and Best Australian Science Writing. I have authored the poetry collections 'The Inheritors' (Black Pepper Publishing, 2021) and 'Taking Apart the Bird Trap' (Recent Work Press, 2024), which I wrote after a period of multiple losses. It is a poetry collection about grief, love, childhood and memory.
Throughout my life, I have used writing to explore complex ideas and emotions and give voice to unsaid things. The act of writing has carried me through some challenging times and has added to my wellbeing and sense of agency. I wish to share the knowledge I have gained over years of writing.
I have run workshops with writers of all levels, including for the Brimbank Reader's and Writer's Festival, Melbourne Poets Union and the Williamstown Literary Festival. I am currently running 'Writing Workshop for Processing Grief', where I will provide poetic inspriation and writing exercises to help you explore your grief, loss or heartbreak. I hope to see you and write with you soon!
