Looking for relaxing things to do in Perth? Learn how to paint with watercolours, the perfect activity to do when you want to relax and feel calm.

Watercolour paint is very simple to set up and clean up, has a quick drying time, and works well with other art mediums, making it very versatile. Adding inks, pens, pencils and stamps adds beautiful layers and creates beautiful, unique art pieces.

Watercolour painting is also a brilliant medium to help you slow down, unwind, and nurture your inner creativity (yes, we all have it!) By adding mixed media, you also get to explore creative expression, which can help with managing stress and anxiety while boosting your overall wellbeing.

New to the world of watercolour and mixed media? No problem! Guided by your teacher, you will learn basic and intermediate watercolour and mixed media techniques. All mixed media products are supplied with our starter kit and you will receive your own set of watercolour paint, a brush, and 100% cotton watercolour paper.

Already familiar with watercolour and have your own favourite products you want to use? Bring your own watercolour paint, a brush, and watercolour paper and create a unique piece of art with us. Your class fee will include the use of all additional mixed media products including inks, pens, pencils, stencils, and stamps.

Hi, I’m Theresa!

I’m a mixed media artist and crafter. My passion is showing woman how creative activities like colouring, watercolour painting and art journaling can help to manage stress and anxiety to improve their mental health.

As a mum, I know how little time we make for ourselves especially when it comes to taking care of our mental health. My aim is to help you gain a better understanding of the importance of nurturing creativity and why your mental health matters.

The joy of art is in the process but if the process is labour intensive and overwhelming you might give up before you even got started. I have curated three very popular art activities and tweaked and simplified the tools and techniques to make the process quick and easy to complete in a short amount of time, relatively mess free yet satisfying enough for the passionate creative.

I am delighted to share these tried and tested techniques with you, so that you can enjoy your creative time and the benefits of it without adding extra stress and work to your already busy day.
