Paint With Me is now offering our school holidays air dry clay class for kids every week. For creative kids in Melbourne, air dry clay and sculpting lessons for kids have maintained themselves as one of our studio's most popular kids' art classes, and it's one of our favourites too. So we've expanded on our casual classes and created a dedicated kids' workshop program to join the ranks of our sold-out painting and drawing programs throughout the week.In this creativity-inspired clay workshop, kids explore designing, experimenting, and finishing handcrafted sculpture techniques like pinching, coiling, rolling, joining, and surface texturing to create a one-of-a-kind piece from start to finish. No kiln needed, no mess, no smashed pottery to sweep up. This class is designed for focusing energetic kids in a sensory creative activity that builds understanding, confidence, and attention to detail in a physically expressive way.Designed and led by fine arts qualified educators, Paint With Me offers kids and adult classes that give art lovers of all levels the environment to develop skills in a welcoming, inspiring studio open to the public.Our artists are professionals across a collection of mediums in the fine and contemporary art space and want to show you the value that arts practices really have in our community. If you're a complete beginner, we invite you to try a class for yourself and see another side to your own creative mind.Based at the studio on High St in Northcote, Paint With Me is an award-winning art school for kids and adults that runs weekly classes all year round. The air dry clay sessions are designed for children ages 5 to 12. No experience required; first-timers and confident little artists get equal amounts of encouragement and guidance.All materials are provided, including aprons, so kids can dress comfortably. We don't fire our clay creations; however, please dress appropriately for some messy, colourful fun! Each finished piece is taken home after creating it, or you may leave it in the studio to be picked up another time.Your pieces, once dry, are ready to be painted, displayed, or built upon in your next class.For families in Melbourne's inner north looking for weekly kids' art classes with education, social fun, professional structure, and real outcomes, we promise to provide one of the best clay experiences around.Sessions run for just over one hour and are priced at $45 per person.
