Alma Plate was founded out of a desire to grow our local, sustainable, real and delicious food systems.

A search for ultimate taste and flavour, cleaning up our environment and the impact of food on our health were all paths that led me to champion local sustainable real food.

Recently undertaking a high school teaching journey, I have honed my teaching skills and launched my food education classes.

I have a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) as well as a newly minted Certified GAPS Coach (CGC) which is a food coaching qualification.

I teach cooking skills to all ages with the aim to bring them many days and years of pleasure in the kitchen, and round the kitchen table with family and friends.
