FunkyFunYou is a handmade jewellery brand, but it is also so much more.
We started with a focus on making earrings that tell a story and using jewellery-making as an art form to express ourselves. Our point of difference was our use of unique materials, such as tiny figurines traditionally used in miniature models, as well as experimentation with different jewellery-making techniques.
Over the years, the business has evolved, and we now have a focus on spreading our love of DIY far and wide, through our range of DIY kits and workshops.
In our workshop, you’ll be able to practice some jewellery-making techniques that we have collected over the years, to make some pieces that are truly unique to you.

Such good vibes and Amy is very very helpful. There was a powerpoint slide show as well to show us the steps and we were guided all the way through. The venue was good despite it being a 40 degree day it was tolerable. There were tools and equipment and materials provided which is awesome and we were guided on how to use and the purpose of each. I learned how to mould the silver clay and how to embed the stones and get a sense of the amount of clay to use and techniques on how to apply different finishes onto the clay. The class is valuable for sure. I enjoy the fact that you get to take home the hard work you’ve done.

This was a really enjoyable class. We were taught several techniques to make our earrings and Amy was a wonderful teacher. I wish it was a longer class! I would love to attend again!

Good explanation and support throughout the class. Good environment and relaxing atmosphere. Amy and Kate were very helpful, patient and welcoming. Loved creating my own earrings from scratch with the help from Amy and Kate.

Really enjoyed this experience! I'm not the most creative person, but really enjoyed an afternoon making fun earrings. Teachers were kind and supportive. The room is small, so only a small group of people can do the workshop at any one time, so you could have lots of help from the teachers if needed. A fun experience and I can't wait to wear all my new earrings!
