Have you ever imagined creating your very own silver ring?
We are the creative team behind FunkyFunYou, and we're super excited to host you at our cosy, hands-on workshop in Melbourne. This isn't just any workshop; it's a special collaboration with Molly Rose Brewing in Collingwood. Your ticket even comes with a free beer to enjoy!
Join us for a deep dive into the fascinating world of silver clay. We'll be right there with you, guiding you through the process of setting stones onto rings. You'll have the chance to mould and shape up to 5g of silver clay (enough for one ring), and pick from a selection of six cubic zirconia stones, crafting a ring that's uniquely yours.
Our workshop is designed to be a fulfilling 2.5-hour experience. In the first 90 minutes, we'll focus on getting to know the material and crafting your ring. Then, we'll take a 15-minute break to dry out your creation. After that, you'll have the chance to sand and perfect your new ring.
PS: We won't be able to fire it up on site. We will take the rings back to our studio to fire and polish for you. You'll receive it 1-2 weeks after the workshop by post.
Please note, this workshop will take place in a bar environment and it's in an open space. Therefore, be aware that there might be other people around during our workshop.

FunkyFunYou is a handmade jewellery brand, but it is also so much more.
We started with a focus on making earrings that tell a story and using jewellery-making as an art form to express ourselves. Our point of difference was our use of unique materials, such as tiny figurines traditionally used in miniature models, as well as experimentation with different jewellery-making techniques.
Over the years, the business has evolved, and we now have a focus on spreading our love of DIY far and wide, through our range of DIY kits and workshops.
In our workshop, you’ll be able to practice some jewellery-making techniques that we have collected over the years, to make some pieces that are truly unique to you.
