What you'll do
Do you want to make your art folio stand out? This class is ideal for students who plan to work or study in a creative field and need a little extra support to prepare their art folios.
Your tutor Dr Mara Jordan has been a member of the art & design interview panel at a Melbourne university for many years and can give valuable advice and guidance to develop a successful and convincing art folio.
She will give feedback and suggestions for future artworks and will help with the development of personal projects. Furthermore, she can help you to write compelling and meaningful statements about your work.
This class is also suitable for high school students who are in their final year of the VCE and need extra guidance for their art and design subjects.
This is a very small and private mentoring & workshop class.
(A minimum booking of two sessions is recommended!)
The class runs at our Hampton location, video conferencing on request.

Scribble Cat Studios is a new and independent art studio in Melbourne. It was founded by Dr Mara Jordan a European trained artist, academic and educator with over two decades of professional experience.
While we are dedicated to produce our own art, we are also offering a series of inspiring art classes and workshops for adults and teenagers. Our innovative course program focuses on specialised classes in drawing, painting, illustration, comic art, animation, visual storytelling, and portfolio mentoring.
Furthermore, we offer unique ‘art & impact’ classes supporting environmental, animal & wildlife protection and social causes. The focus lies not only on teaching the technical skills of drawing but also to create meaningful work and to encourage the participants individual growth as artists.
