Gold Coast Painting classes

Learning to paint takes as many shapes and forms as the painting themselves. Whether it’s getting wet with watercolours, making slick shapes with oil paints, or creating colour with acrylic, ClassBento has art classes on the Gold Coast that cater for all tastes. With workshops for both casual painters and individuals looking to master the arts in a more formal setting, our art classes for adults and kids alike will have you finding the artist within. Our paint and sip workshops also allow you to pick up painting skills in a festive environment that’s not just perfect for painting, but also ideal for celebrating!

Gold Coast Fluid art classes

Acrylic pouring classes and fluid art workshops have found rapid popularity in recent years, due partly to the viral videos circulating the web. Visually stunning and somewhat hypnotic, fluid art painting is created by pouring thinned paint onto a canvas repeatedly, using a mix of colours. This produces a truly unique visual experience and is one of the best things to do on the Gold Coast if you’re chasing down unique and abstract art classes.

Gold Coast Drawing classes

If you’re looking for art classes that get you back to the basics, drawing lessons and sketching workshops are perfect for you. With a strong emphasis on shape and form, a beginner’s drawing class won’t just show you how to accurately depict a subject or scene, but give you the tools to expand into other mediums more quickly and effectively. By learning how to master the “bread and butter” of the art world, a drawing workshop will help you accurately portray imagery when it comes to painting and design.

Gold Coast Photography classes

Although everyone seems to be a photographer nowadays, getting a snapshot of proper photography training can help make your pictures stand out. Photography short courses are perfect for learning the finer details of DSLR photography. From composition to shutter speed, as well as discovering how to use various forms of natural light, ClassBento’s photography workshops and iPhone photography classes can take your picture-taking game to a new level. And with some much incredible scenery, it’s one of the best things to do on the Gold Coast.

Health benefits of art classes

Creating artworks wonders for your mental health. Being able to express yourself through a creative lens has been found to relieve stress, and also function as a powerful outlet for people who suffer from anxiety, depression and PTSD. Art therapy has gained significant traction in the medical community over the last few decades and is regularly used in palliative care wards and nursing home to help keep the brain active and the hands moving.
