Hi, I’m Susie—a local artist and founder of Artisan Tribe Studio in The Tweed. I’ve opened my studio as a welcoming space where everyone, from curious beginners to seasoned makers, can come together to experience the joy of making by hand.

Because I love exploring different materials and techniques, you’ll always find something new to try, with unique workshops introduced every season. Our current offerings include clay hand-building, painting, printing, mixed media, textiles, and jewellery making.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on your skills, our workshops focus on process over perfection, nurturing curiosity, self-expression, and a sense of well-being through creativity.

Workshops are curated to blend modern design with traditional methods, and each activity is designed so you’ll leave with a handmade piece that feels personal and fits beautifully into your space.
