Authentic Indian Food Tasting

Try food made by a local of the Taj Mahal City.

1 hour Experience size 1 to 3 guests       $30

Hi! I’m from the city of the Taj Mahal, now studying here in Perth. Back home, I come from a big family – we live together, cook together, and eat together. Here, it’s often just a solo plate. So, I thought, why not bring a little of that togetherness here?
If you’d like to try authentic Indian vegetarian food – not from a restaurant, but the kind we make and eat at home – you’re most welcome to join me for a meal! Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there won’t be a fixed menu. It’s more like a surprise meal, just like we do back home – made fresh with love, and meant to be shared.
We’ll sit, eat, chat, and maybe even laugh over stories. Food is life, right?
A few things to know:
  • Everything will be vegetarian.
  • I’ll adjust the spice level – just let me know in advance if you prefer mild or have any no-no’s (like no onions, garlic, or allergies like peanuts).
  • This isn’t a business or restaurant – just a heartfelt experience. The small charge is only to cover the cost of ingredients and my time.
Also, I will be glad to share the recipes. ️
I’d truly love to share not just food, but the feeling of home. So come over, let’s eat, talk, and make a little memory around.

Hi, I’m Riya — an artist, a curious soul, and someone who’s always exploring different corners of life — from agriculture and business to books, ideas, and emotions. But one thing that’s always stayed close to me is art. I’m self-taught — guided not by formal rules, but by instinct, feeling, and the need to express. Art came into my life quietly and never really left.
For me, art is more than a skill — it’s a way of being. It’s how I process, how I heal, and how I speak when words fall short. When I’m overwhelmed, confused, or even angry — I create. And in that space, things begin to make sense again. Art has taught me that you don’t always need language to connect — you just need honesty. I love how everyone sees something different in a piece, something personal. That quiet exchange is what moves me.
Alongside creating, I’ve also taught art — mostly online, with kids. It was fun, playful, and reminded me how natural creativity is when it’s not boxed in. Teaching made me want to explore more, and offer space where others could also discover how freeing and healing art can be.
I also had the opportunity to exhibit my work in a group show at AIFACS Gallery in Delhi, which gave me the encouragement to share my work more openly with others.
I truly believe anyone can make art. You don’t need fancy tools or years of training — just a willingness to explore. That’s what I hope to share with others: the freedom, the healing, and the fun that art can bring.
Let’s create something meaningful together.
