Just yourself (and maybe your favourite water bottle), we provide everything else - from ingredients to equipment to aprons!

FAQ

What should I wear?
Simply wear something comfortable! We provide aprons to help protect your clothes but you don't want to risk your favourite outfit. Long, dangling sleeves are in the most danger, so we recommend sleeves that are short or can be rolled up. This is a functional commercial kitchen, so we will require you wearing closed shoes during classes. To be honest, if you were wearing flip flops and happened to get buttercream on your feet, we don't even know how to deal with that situation! lol
How long are the classes?
The duration of the class depends on the topic being covered. Note that the times advertised on our classes are estimates only and classes may run over.
When do I need to arrive to the session?
To ensure our classes run smoothly and on time, please arrive 5 - 10 mins prior to the start of the class. We understand that life sometimes gets in the way, that's okay - let us know if you are running late, our teachers will do their best to help you but cannot guarantee they will have time to explain everything again, keep in mind that the more you miss, the harder it will be to catch up.

Hello, my name is Chin, and I am originally from a tiny island called Mauritius (which you might hear in my accent). My sister-in-law and I started our cake business when we were still university students. We registered our small apartment kitchen with the council, and what started as a small gig to help us pay the bills and eat something tastier than Mee Goreng has now become our happy place! We made so many mistakes – bad tools, bad techniques, bad cakes (we don’t talk about those). More than ten years later, we’ve baked for big brands, won awards, and opened our own cake shop in Lynbrook, which is a real pinch-me moment.
