Hello, my name is Chin, and I am originally from a tiny island called Mauritius (which you might hear in my accent). My sister-in-law and I started our cake business when we were still university students. We registered our small apartment kitchen with the council, and what started as a small gig to help us pay the bills and eat something tastier than Mee Goreng has now become our happy place! We made so many mistakes – bad tools, bad techniques, bad cakes (we don’t talk about those). More than ten years later, we’ve baked for big brands, won awards, and opened our own cake shop in Lynbrook, which is a real pinch-me moment.

Since 2014, we have opened our commercial kitchen to Cake Workshops, and now, our workshops are all about having a laugh, making a mess, and creating something sweet you can be proud of. You'll learn heaps along the way and make real connections with fun people who also love cake!
