What you'll do
Join artist and facilitator Kelly Saunders for a 2-2.5 hour watercolour workshop designed to help you loosen up, trust the process and enjoy the beautiful unpredictability of watercolour. This workshop is the perfect follow-on from our Watercolour for Beginners and Watercolour sessions, and is ideal for anyone who has already explored the basics and is ready to paint with more confidence, flow, and expression. Beginners are still warmly welcomed, with gentle guidance throughout, while returning participants are encouraged to let go of perfection and paint more intuitively.Kelly’s teaching style blends clear structure with creative freedom. You’ll learn essential techniques, but more importantly, you’ll learn how to work with the water rather than fight it.In this session, you’ll explore watercolour by creating a stunning Western Australian beach painting utilising watercolour techniques. There’s room to follow along closely or interpret the artwork in your own way, making each piece unique. At iCreated Studio, creativity is about feeling comfortable enough to try. Our workshops are welcoming, inclusive, and pressure-free. There’s no rush, no judgement, and no expectation to paint perfectly. Just space to explore, experiment, and enjoy the process. You’ll complete a finished watercolour artwork during the session and take it home ready to admire, reflect on, or build upon later.

- Techniques focused on flow, layering and expression.

Your teacher
From our beginnings in Mindarie to our beautiful new home in Clarkson, iCreated Studio has grown around one simple idea: creativity feels better when it’s shared.Founded by husband-and-wife team Kelly and Mick, iCreated Studio is an independent creative business in Perth’s northern suburbs. Our Mindarie studio was where we first welcomed people around the table to try something new, discover unexpected talents and enjoy a little time for themselves. Today, our purpose-designed Clarkson studio gives us more room to bring those experiences to life, with the same personal welcome and community spirit that started it all.Located right beside Clarkson Train Station, our new studio blends modern industrial character with warm, cosy touches. It’s a space to settle in, switch off from the everyday and get absorbed in making something with your own hands. Our growing workshop collection includes Paint n Sip, pottery, watercolour, resin, candle making, Turkish lamps, wood burning, floristry and more. Led by our friendly studio team and talented local guest artists, our experiences welcome complete beginners and returning creatives alike. You don’t need to arrive feeling artistic—we’ll help you find your starting point. We believe a creative workshop should feel like a treat. Quality materials, thoughtful guidance and those lovely finishing touches—whether that’s a glass of bubbles, a curated share platter or coffee and cake—make each experience feel special. Inclusions vary between workshops, but a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome are always part of the experience.Beyond our public workshops, we host private celebrations, corporate team building and supported creative sessions, alongside mobile experiences that bring iCreated to other venues. Community remains at the heart of what we do, through collaborations with local artists, suppliers and businesses, fundraising initiatives and opportunities for emerging artists to share their skills. We’ve come a long way since Mindarie, and we’re proud of what we’re creating in Clarkson: a welcoming place for connection, a little creative courage and that wonderful moment when you look at what you’ve made and say, “I did that.”
