You learn how to make your desired design in wax while also learning how casting works including the types of metals you can use and how to figure out the weight your wax ring will be in your desired metal. This is helpful when understanding the cost of making your ring. If you want to starting making rings for a living or just for you and your friends I would highly recommend this course.

I am really happy with all the knowledge I acquired throughout the workshop and am super keen to continue making jewellery and apply the techniques and skills I learnt at home. She assists you wherever you need help in, teaches you in a way you’ll remember rather than just showing you and hoping you’ll remember, she emails all the notes and product lists after class but most importantly, she actually cares and is a passionate teacher. I’d highly recommend going to one of eran’s classes as you do feel like you are actually learning from a master and a master she is. She even sent us out to run a practical errand after our first class so we would learn how to do things ourselves which I found incredibly useful. Eran was very warm, attentive and helpful, and the class of 8 people was the right size to allow her to give good support to all. There was clear instruction about how to use all of the equipment, and the venue worked well for the purpose of the class. I'd strongly recommend this class to others.
