- 5/5 from Alicia Leroy, attended Jan 2026: This class was the most fun I had in ages! Wonderful small class, excellent instruction by the warm and divine Yvette who shares her skills and ideas in a safe space to make errors. A really fun time where the time flew, and we all made something beautiful to take home and had some great food which Yvette supplied. I would highly recommend this class having started to learn a wonderful new skill!
- 5/5 from Jacqueline Sharpe, attended Jan 2026: Great class with an awesome teacher. Thoroughly enjoyed making this wall hanging.
- 5/5 from Sharon Nelson, attended Oct 2025: My friend and I had a great day with Yvette. She is such a lovely lady, who showed us step by step how to produce the beautiful masterpiece we went home with. Yvette is warm and inviting and makes a wicked lunch! I would highly recommend Yvettesmacrame workshop to anyone.
- 5/5 from Lucille Antonio, attended Jun 2025: What a fun way to spend the day! This class was so relaxing and we all achieved such amazing results, more than what I thought I'd be able to learn. Yvette is a patient, knowledgeable and generous tutor, but also heaps of fun. I think I've discovered my new favourite hobby!
- 5/5 from Natalia Lewis, attended Jun 2025: Me and my friend had a wonderfull experience. Yvette such a great artist. Excellent and simple instruction, tasty snacks and warm and friendly environment. Will recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn new skills.
- 5/5 from Armstrong Debra, attended Feb 2025: Yvette gave clear instructions. Project was fun and covered the knots required.
- 5/5 from Cheryl Mathers, attended Sep 2024: Fabulous workshop at Yvette's home. She was very well organised and had all the cords cut and ready to go. She even provided sample cords for us to practice and gain confidence with the knots prior to starting the wall hanging. We enjoyed being outside doing our projects prior to going inside. We had a fun time with lots of laughter. The cost was appropriate to the the project being done and all materials were supplied. We had plenty of individual attention and assistance. I would attend another workshop with Yvette in a heart beat.
- 5/5 from Faye Makin, attended Sep 2024: Yvette had lots of energy & she loved teaching us at her home which was very relaxing. She also provided a lovely spread of food for only 2 of us. Because it was Macrama she said her classes are always small so she can spend more time with us one on one. Regards Faye makin
Your teacher
Macrame is heaven. The mind soothing calm it brings while creating the knots and then before you know it, you have a creation. I took this joy up after having an illness and have not stopped.
