I’ve been working in metal fabrication and TIG welding for over 22 years, with a background that spans structural and marine fabrication, high-end pharmaceutical work, and defence industry welding using exotic materials. Along the way, I also developed a passion for sculptural and artistic metalwork — I love the blend of technical precision and creative expression that welding allows.

Teaching came naturally to me. In my roles within industry I became an advanced trainer in my field in Western Australia, and have guided hundreds of students through the welding process, from first-time torch users to advanced welders chasing certifications. I hold formal qualifications in fabrication and coded welding, and take pride in aligning all training with real industry standards.

I’m passionate about showing people that welding is more than sparks and steel — it’s about focus, patience, and pride in what you create. Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast or looking to launch a welding career, my goal is to help you build real skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
