- 5/5 from Fernie Meister, attended Dec 2025: Best way to spend a few hours in Byron Bay enjoying Belinda‘s company and learning with her such an ancient art craft!!! Her selection of papers are to die for and you take home the most beautiful book done by yourself!!! I can’t wait for the next workshop!!
- 5/5 from Aline von Wedel, attended Nov 2025: Belinda is an amazing teacher. She was patient and trustingly leading us through every step of binding our first own books. One can truly feel how much passion and love she has for this art and it's wonderful to learn from her and being introduced into this magical world. Thank you so much for everything!
Your teacher
I have always felt the power of a blank page and throughout my life have continually collected blank books, journals, notebooks... So, It was natural for me to discover the world of handmade books. I have been making journals and Sketchbooks for 10 years now and it is still a huge passion for me. I have sold hundreds of books online and at Artisan Markets.Using paper from around the world, and different techniques, old and new, I am dedicated to the idea these traditions should be passed on.If you are like me, a paper lover, then I hope to help you find the satisfaction I feel when making a handmade book.I work and teach out of my home studio in Byron Bay as well as other venues.
