During this class, you'll be taught by an expert teacher and practising botanical artist, Tania Daymond, starting off with some fun easy exercises to learn how to observe, draw and paint.

Each exercise not only introduces you to a different ink technique but helps you grow your drawing skills one step at a time. There are take away exercises for you at the end of each class so that you can continue the botanical ink fun at home.

As you work your way through your drawing exercises you'll gain a new appreciation for our local botanical flora. You'll learn alongside other like-minded beginners and enjoy lots of fun and laughs as you get in touch with your hidden creative talents.

Tania has been drawing since she was a little girl. Always dragging around a bag of coloured pencils and paper.

As an adult, she completed a Diploma in Art Education and then Fashion Design. After a successful career in both, she is now a qualified art teacher and practising botanical artist. Tania's amazing botanical art is all hand-drawn with a fountain pen and the blackest ink on archival rag paper.

Tania loves sharing her creative botanical passion with others. It doesn't matter if you have never picked up a pencil before or if you already have some drawing skills - Tania's classes are perfect for anyone who wants to share in the joy, fun and delight of learning to draw botanical flora.

Supportive teacher who welcomed us to the class. Although I had little experience and am not artistic I still enjoyed the process. Thanks for a lovely morning.

Our teacher, Tania, created a welcoming and safe space to play with ink. Thoroughly enjoyed the class, techniques were taught, all equipment was supplied and some worksheets and calligraphy pen were part of the take home kit. I would attend more of Tania’s classes and recommend this class.
