  • 4/5 from Bev Yardley, attended Feb 2025: Tania was a great teacher. I liked that she emphasised "having a go" rather than being serious about finishing with a perfect piece. The practice pieces were a good introduction to some of the techniques. I would like to have had more demonstrations on using the techniques to give shape to the plants/leaves for our final piece. Thank you.

  • 5/5 from Kathryn Preston, attended Oct 2024: Tania was a great teacher, class structure was easy to follow and gave heaps we could continue on with at home. All materials were provided and we had the opportunity to find out what we liked to then purchase (inc where to purchase and expected costs). We used artists ink to create a base for a ink drawing with pen. But before we started the drawing we did exercises to explore using the materials and what felt good. We left the workshop inspired to continue our art practice at home with our new skills.

  • 5/5 from Maureen Faas, attended Feb 2024: I booked an extra session to work on two pieces done in a previous watercolour workshop and the Metallic workshop on the Saturday 3rd Feb. Tania was very generous with her time and expertise while the other participants were doing their exercises and came back regularly to check if I needed any additional assistance. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and see their templates at the end and to see the changes on my work. It's always a pleasure to do Tania's workshop; everything is so organised! Thank you
  • 5/5 from Bronwyn, attended Nov 2023: Tania was a brilliant instructor, who guided a large, mostly inexperienced group through achievable and fun watercolour techniques, with a balance of humor and professionalism. The equipment provided was perfect for the day, allowing a choice between paints or pencils, and with plenty of work sheets and guides for everyone. Many of the class members started off with “I can’t do this, I’m not creative” to all creating a beautiful artwork piece, so thank you, Tania!
  • 5/5 from Linda, attended Nov 2023: What a fantastic session we had with Tania. She took us step by step to help us create a lovely water coloured card for the bride and groom. A warm and talented teacher who gave us great confidence. Would love to do more :)
  • 5/5 from Michaela Watson, attended Nov 2023: Tania was fantastic to work with to organise a bridal shower for my sister-in-law. We were able to meet at the venue before I had to confirm our booking; this was really helpful as it set the scene for planning the rest of the party. Tania had brilliant ideas and really got on board with the idea of the hen's party and how to make it special and unique. Our event had two lessons then we used what we had learned to each create a piece of art to gift to the bride and groom. You should have seen the stunning work we all did, even as total novices! She is the utmost professional as well as being good fun and an all-round gem of a human being. I can highly recommend her classes.

Tania has been drawing since she was a little girl. Always dragging around a bag of coloured pencils and paper.
As an adult, she completed a Diploma in Art Education and then Fashion Design. After a successful career in both, she is now a qualified art teacher and practising botanical artist. Tania's amazing botanical art is all hand-drawn with a fountain pen and the blackest ink on archival rag paper.
Tania loves sharing her creative botanical passion with others. It doesn't matter if you have never picked up a pencil before or if you already have some drawing skills - Tania's classes are perfect for anyone who wants to share in the joy, fun and delight of learning to draw botanical flora.
