My obsession with beaded bags started when I came across a beautiful beaded bag online. I wanted a unique statement piece and decided to learn how to make the bag myself and many other bags after that. What began as a personal creative outlet quickly turned into a full-blown passion. I’m incredibly passionate about beading because it’s a form of wearable art; you are literally building a functional, beautiful accessory from scratch, one tiny piece at a time.

I love teaching because beading is a beautifully meditative process. In a fast-paced world, sitting down to create something with your hands is incredibly grounding. There is nothing quite like watching a student start the workshop feeling unsure and seeing their face light up with pride when they hold their finished, professional-looking beaded bag at the end. I love empowering people to say, 'I made this!'

What most people don’t realize about beaded bags is how much engineering goes into them! It’s like architecture with beads.

I frequently attend the Henley Beach Square markets and Glenelg markets, where I have a stall.

I am passionate about my students having fun while beading!
