Silka is a Gold Coast based artist, graphic designer and art teacher, specialising in Chinese painting and multimedia illustration.Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Xi’An Academy of Fine Arts in China and began her journey as an artist and an art teacher in 2017.Silka’s works have featured in various exhibitions, including the XAFA Excellent Artworks Collection 2016, Chinese Young Artists Exhibition 2017, and Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award 2020. Her works are displayed at respected galleries worldwide.Silka’s featured works and projects:
- Partnered with the Queensland Government and designed Chinese zodiac commemorative birth certificate range, launched 2022.
- Partnered with the Queensland Government and designed Chinese commemorative marriage certificate, launched 2022.
