  • 5/5 from Rachael Taylor, attended Jul 2026: I attended the Asian Street Food Cooking Class with my Son, this was as a gift for my 60th birthday and absolutely loved it. The teacher was fantastic – friendly, funny and made the class very enjoyable. One of the highlights was making the dressing from scratch and learning how all the flavours came together. The food was delicious, and I didn’t expect to enjoy the experience as much as I did. it was a wonderful gift and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different.
  • 5/5 from David Hay, attended Jun 2026: Chef Tong's demonstrations were excellent, with everything clearly explained and delivered with good humour. The session was fast paced and there was a lot to get through in the time frame. Much of the basic preparation had been done in advance so it was fairly easy to complete the final prep and cooking tasks within the group. It was fun to team up with others and share the workload. There was a lot of food, all very tasty and authentic. Will definitely try out the recipes at home. Thank you to Chef Tong and the team!

  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Mar 2025: The chef was the first time running this class but he was very skilled and helpful, our group was interactive and fun to chat to as well, everyone was very nice, and the food was very tasty! If One thing we had to point out, it would be the timing - the class info said the class was supposed to last till 7:30pm, but we (and everyone) finished and left by 6:15, we ate the dish right after we cooked, but the eating part felt quite rushed and everyone seemed to be hovering the food in. We'd appreaciate more if the eating can be more relaxed. But overall we had great fun:)

A great teacher who freely told you where he sorced the ingredients and used terminology that was so easy to understand and was approachable for any questions we had. Conducted in an environment that was very orderly and clean and we were reminded several times to go and wash our hands before we moved onto the next step. After being taught how to do this and why we used that etc, we got to sit down and eat what we cooked. YUMM. Best still is that we got to keep the leftovers and the recipes so we can cook it all again at home. I will be telling all my friends. Thank you ClassBento for a great experience.

The staff were great in keeping the place clean and running all through the class. Venue was perfect with great range of materials. I did like that Tong was able to tell us substitutes for certain products and where to get them from cheaper. However I would have liked to have more hands-on with the desert course.
