  • 5/5 from Renee West, attended May 2026: Great teacher! Small class size worked great!
  • 5/5 from Sian Hickey, attended May 2026: Great beginners short class to get started with or refresh basic knowledge of crochet. Perfect face to face demonstration for people who have tried to teach themselves but never quite got how to hold the hook or yarn and get tension right. You won't end the class with a complete project but you'll learn basic stitches, starting, turning plus you'll get the gear you'll need to practise and experiment at home before starting your first independent project.
  • 5/5 from Gail Philogene, attended May 2026: The class was just what I was looking for. And I left feeling confident and excited to practice the basics and improve. Hana was very patient, and presented clear and thorough instructions! Thanks Hana! Gail

  • 5/5 from Sue Leonard, attended Mar 2026: Lovely, patient teacher attempting to teach beginner crochet. It’s actually quite complex (I think) and she did a great job calmly helping us to “knot up”, use the crochet hook, and correct tension etc. Fabulous work shop set up. Thoughtful beginners package to take home.

  • 5/5 from Lucy Lott, attended Oct 2025: The class was great in that it really explained the basics stitches which is what I needed. Due to me being a slow learner, I would have really benefited from an extra hour to try and solidify what I learned and have a bit more time to get into the rhythm of the stitches so that I could have gained a bit more confidence. My daughter really enjoyed it and got it a lot quicker than I - she has been crocheting a lot since.
  • 5/5 from Paula Dash, attended Oct 2025: My daughter and I had such a wonderful time in the crotchet class on Saturday 4th October! Our teacher was very kind, patient and attentive to all involved. The class was held in a beautiful studio designated especially for craft classes, with a large selection of hot drinks, ice cold water, relaxing music and yummy treats to keep the atmosphere enjoyable. I had never done crotchet before this class or even seen it done through You Tube etc. Left the class with a crotchet hook, yarn and a good knowledge of how to do my slip knot to start and confidently use a couple of different stitches. Will definately be a relaxing hobby for me = can't wait to see where this will take me and what I will be able to create. My daughter and I can explore our newly found skills together!
  • 5/5 from Trudy Harman, attended Oct 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed this morning. Keen to book some more crochet casses

Facilitating workshops for a number of years, I learned to crochet from my mum who crocheted, knitted, and sewed most of our family's garments. Since that time, I developed a love for crochet as a craft that enables me to relax and keeps my mind healthy.
I find great satisfaction, especially in completing crochet toys (called Amigurumi), be it from the animal kingdom or dolls. My crochet toys are on display in an art gallery and also available as pieces of handcrafted love for purchase.
Come to discover the beauty of this almost forgotten, yet still alive, relaxing craft with many benefits.
