Step into Tall Trees Studio in beautiful Olinda and enjoy a hands-on jewellery-making workshop designed to help you slow down, unwind, and create something uniquely yours or gifts for loved ones. Whether you come along solo, with your bestie, or as part of a small group, this workshop is the perfect way to switch off, reconnect, and spend a short but meaningful time surrounded by like-minded people and create your very own Morse code jewellery to take home.

With our small class sizes (maximum 8 participants), you’ll enjoy an intimate and relaxed atmosphere where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions freely, and receive expert guidance and support at every step of the process.

What You’ll Experience:

In our Morse code jewellery class, you will not only have fun creating secret messages in your jewellery, you’ll walk away having:

Learnt a couple of different ways to create your desired pieces — including using different threads, clasps, or adjustable knots to achieve a professional finish.
Designed and handcrafted your own necklace and/or 2x bracelets that are professional in finish, personal in meaning, and entirely your own design.
Received friendly, expert guidance from Siobhan, an experienced jewellery maker and creative tutor who is passionate about helping you make your ideas shine and who’ll support and encourage you every step of the way.

In this class, you’ll have access to our stunning collection of quality 3mm Myuki Japanese seed beads that are the perfect size for Morse code jewellery, plus all findings and stringing materials in many colours to create beautiful, lasting keepsakes of your time learning with us. We use stainless steel or plated brass findings in class, and for a touch of luxury, we also offer optional upgrades that you can view and pay for on the day, including semi-precious gemstones and pearls, plus sterling silver or gold-filled components.

The Details:

Duration: 1.5 hours
Location: Tall Trees Studio, Olinda – in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges
Group Size: Small boutique-style classes with a maximum of 8 participants for in-house events.
Includes: Tuition, use of all tools, and enough findings and beads to create your chosen necklace or 2x bracelets. Additional pieces can be made and paid for on the day if desired.
Optional: Bring your own sentimental beads to incorporate into your design.
Suitable For: Beginners and creatives of all experience levels – perfect for a girls’ day out, mums’ treat, a solo creative escape, or anyone who loves handmade and meaningful experiences.

Tall Trees Studio now has two dedicated Tutors for our various workshops.

Helene for all Precious Metal Forming Jewellery Workshops and Siobhan for all Beading Jewellery Workshops.

Helene is the owner and Goldsmith in Tall Trees Studio & Gallery and lives on Mt Dandenong. Helene's passion is handcrafted jewellery, not the mass produced items being produced by casting in factories. Traditional slow hand crafted, starting from granule, alloying to carat, making sheet and wire, then hand crafting the pieces, incorporating both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Helene enjoy handcrafting jewellery so much that she finds that she loves sharing this passion with more people.

Siobhan is local to The Dandenong Ranges and has been running her own successful jewellery business and conducting creative workshops, for over 10 years. She first started learning different jewellery making skills in her teens before embarking on a more corporate career in Human Resources, Training and Development and being a mum to her three children.

Together with her vast jewellery making skills plus her qualifications in and love of training, she is now extending her workshop schedule to share her skills with us at Tall Trees Studio. Siobhan holds a current working with children check.
