What you'll do
Raffia weaving is an intricate and time-consuming craft, making this one of our more challenging workshops. The process is quite slow and requires patience, but with step-by-step guidance, you'll learn the techniques needed to craft your own unique raffia basket or decoration.While beginners are welcome, this workshop requires focus and perseverance. Our experienced instructor will support you throughout the session, ensuring you feel confident as you weave. Since basket weaving takes time, you’ll also receive extra materials to take home so you can continue and complete your piece at your own pace.This is a BYO wine event, so feel free to bring your favorite bottle to sip on while you create.In our Raffia class at a location of your choice around Melbourne, you will immerse yourself in the delightful world of intricate knotting techniques. Don't worry if you're new to Raffia our friendly instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring a supportive and fun learning environment.Please note: In order to order and organise supplies in a timely manner, we require bookings to be made at least 9 days in advance.
